ALVA, Okla. — Dartanyon Meggs recorded his first career double-double as Southern Nazarene fell 79-65 Thursday night at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Meggs finished with 10 points and a career high 10 rebounds for the Crimson Storm (10-12, 9-7 GAC).
C.J. White notched his second double-double of the season as he also scored 10 points and added 10 boards.
Francisco Hukill led the way for SNU with 14 points.

SNU shot 41.5 percent form the field and were 8-for-24 from 3-point range. The Rangers (8-12, 8-8 GAC) scored 18 points off of 18 Storm turnovers and turned the ball over just six times.

Northwestern took advantage of a big run midway through the first half. Tied at 13, the Rangers went on a 23-3 run to take 36-16 lead with 2:55 left in the first. NWOSU led 38-21 at the half, but SNU started to cut into the lead in the second half.

Down 47-31, the Storm got a 3-pointer by Hukill that sparked an 18-3 run as SNU cut it to 50-49 with 10:49 to play. That was as close as Southern Nazarene came though as the Rangers closed the game on a 29-16 run to put it away.Â
