BETHANY, Okla. — After shooting 38.2 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range in the first half, Southern Nazarene went cold in the second half. SNU shot just 23.3 percent and 18.2 percent from long range in the second half in an 82-60 loss to Harding.
Â
It was the sixth consecutive loss to the Bisons for the Crimson Storm (4-13, 3-11 GAC), who have now lost five consecutive games for the second time this season. Southern Nazarene was able to start the fourth quarter on a 7-2 run, but Harding answered with a 9-2 run of its own to end all thoughts of a comeback.

Abby Boyd and
Rachel Doerneman were the only two SNU players in double figures scoring. After Harding held her to a season-low 14 points in Searcy, Boyd was held to 13 points tonight on 5-of-19 shooting while Doerneman scored 10 points to go with four rebounds.
Kandyce Freeman recorded double-digit rebounds for the second consecutive game as she hauled in a game-high 12 boards.

The Harding offense was hard to stop from the start as the Bisons shot 63 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from long range in the first half. On the game, Harding shot 50 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from deep. The Bisons also capitalized on SNU mistakes, converting 20 Crimson Storm turnovers into 20 points.Â
