BETHANY, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State fired 55.9 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from 3-point range in an 85-73 win over Southern Nazarene.

Anton Kankaanpaa led the way for the Storm (7-10, 6-5 GAC) with 13 points as he was 5-for-7 from the field.
CJ Rodriguez,
Garrett Butler and
Noah Starkey all had 12 points. It was a career-high for Starkey.
LB Willis also finished with nine points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals.

SNU shot 42.1 percent from the field and went 10-for-28 from beyond the arc. The Storm also went 15-for-21 at the line.

Southern Nazarene opened the game on a 22-8 run, but the Savage Storm (6-11, 4-7 GAC) went on a 19-4 run to take a 27-26 lead with 4:57 left in the first. SNU scored five straight to lead 31-27 before a 12-8 run by Southeastern tied it at 39 at the half.

It was all Southeastern in the second half as it shot 60.7 percent form the field and went 5-for-9 from deep. SNU was held to just 4-of-17 from beyond the arc in the second half.

SNU took its last lead at 50-51 with 14:34 left to play on a Starkey dunk, but the Savage Storm went on a 16-4 run to lead 66-55 and kept SNU at bay from there.
