BETHANY, Okla.  — After playing the first eight matches away from home, Southern Nazarene got to show off to the home fans in style with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-18) sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The win also got the Crimson Storm (4-5, 1-0 GAC) off on the right foot in Great American Conference play as well. SNU hit over .300 in the first two sets combined and were off an running. The Crimson Storm hit 282 in the first and .370 in the second before the Savage Storm (2-7, 0-1 GAC) began to make a late run in the third. After SOSU tied it in the third at 16, SNU pulled away with a 9-2 run to close out the match.

McKenna Qualls and
Kaitlyn Vought each had 11 kills to lead the way for the Crimson Storm. Qualls also had five aces and two blocks to go with six digs. Vought nearly had a double-double with nine digs and she also added a career-high five blocks.
Elyse Berlin recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 31 assists and 11 digs.
Abbey Bell also had 20 digs.

The Crimson Storm out dug Southeastern Oklahoma State 62-50 and had 10 blocks to SOSU's two. SNU trailed just four times the entire night.Â
