ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Dalen Edgar went 3-for-4 with a run scored for Southern Nazarene in a 13-5 loss at Henderson State.

The Crimson Storm (8-21, 6-16 GAC) had cut it to 6-5 in the top of the seventh, but the Reddies (21-14, 13-8 GAC) scored six in the bottom of the seventh and one in the eighth to put it away.

Henderson State took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third, but SNU answered in the top of the fourth when
Anthony Wiggins doubled to center field to tie it at 1-1. Henderson though scored one in the fourth, three in the fifth and one in the sixth to lead 6-1.

Brandon Dormaier cut the score to 6-2 when he doubled to score
Caleb Teel. The Storm cut it to 5-6 in the top of the seventh with three runs. Gaige
Webster drove in the first run of the inning with a fielder's choice before
Cody Nelson scored on a passed ball to make it 6-4. Wiggins drove in the final run of the inning with a sacrifice fly to right to score
Riley Morrow.

Henderson State though scored seven unanswered runs to lead 13-5 and held SNU form there.

Nelson was the only other player with multiple hits as he went 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Mason Pinion (2-6) took the loss after he gave up five runs on four hits in 4.2 innings of work.Â
