DURANT, Okla. — Brandon Dormaier went a combined 6-for-9 for Southern Nazarene as SNU dropped both games of a doubleheader to Southeastern Oklahoma State. SNU lost the first game 11-8 before falling 8-6 in the second game.

Jacob Spruill (1-3) took the loss after giving up seven runs, five earned, on nine hits in six innings of work.
Â
SNU took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second after a passed ball and a SOSU error. Southeastern cut it to 2-1 in the bottom of the inning, but the Storm pushed it to 3-1 on an
Anthony Wiggins solo home run to right field.
Â
The Savage Storm tied it at 3-3 in the bottom of the third, but the Storm got another solo shot by
Michael Descisciolo to lead 4-3 in the fourth and then SNU got another run in the fifth off another SOSU error to lead 5-3. The Savage Storm though scored one in the fifth, three in the sixth and four in the seventh to lead 11-5. SNU scored three in the eighth with two coming in off back-to-back doubles by Fultz and
Caleb Teel before
Dillon Feland singled home Teel to make it 11-8.
Â
That was as close as SNU came though.
Â
In the nightcap, Dormaier was one of three players to go 2-for-4. Dormaier also had an RBI and a run scored while

Â
Wiggins though drove in the first run of the game as SNU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Savage Storm scored two in the bottom half to lead 2-1. The Storm tied it in the third on an Edgar single to center field, but SOSU answered again with three in the third to lead 5-2.
Â
SNU cut it to 5-4 in the top of the fourth on a pair of singles by Feland and
Riley Morrow, but SOSU pushed it to 7-4 in the bottom of the fourth. A Dormaier double and a Teel single drove in two more runs for the Crimson Storm as they got within one again at 7-6 in the fifth, but that was as close as SNU came.
Â
Southeastern added one more in the sixth to put the game away.
