BETHANY, Okla.— Mason Pinion only allowed three runs in 5.1 innings pitched, but Southern Nazarene couldn't generate any offense in its 3-0 loss to Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The Rangers (12-12, 5-8 GAC) got on the board in the top of the third inning with an RBI single and an RBI triple. They added to their lead in the top of the sixth with a runner scoring off of a sacrifice fly to make the score 3-0. The Crimson Storm (4-14, 3-10 GAC) left eight runners on base, including three in scoring position.

Pinion (1-4) started the game and pitched 5.1 innings, allowed three runs off of seven hits, and had two strikeouts.Â
