EDMOND, Okla. — Lexie Matthews had 10 kills and eight digs for Southern Nazarene in a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-16) loss at No. 13 Central Oklahoma.

The Crimson Storm (9-12) hit .202 (36-16-99) and had three blocks. Matthews hit .350 on the night and was the only SNU player with double-figure kills.
Courtney Bowie had seven kills and two blocks while
McKayla Benner had six kills and a block.
Elyse Berlin had 25 assists, eight digs and five kills.
Abbey Bell had a team-high 13 digs while
Hannah Davis had 10.

The Bronchos (19-1) had seven blocks on the night and hit .377. Taylor Bevis led the way for UCO with 17 kills as she hit .448. UCO also had six aces.

The Storm trailed early in the first set 9-5 before Bowie capped a 9-4 run with a kill to give SNU a 14-13 lead. SNU had a 15-14 lead before the Bronchos used a 5-1 run to lead 19-16. UCO held a 24-21 lead, but SNU fought back to cut it to 24-23. Central Oklahoma though held off the Storm to take the first set.

In the second set, the Bronchos used a 9-4 run to distance themselves midway through the set to push its lead to 2-0. SNU held a 10-9 lead in the third set, but UCO answered with a 16-6 stretch to close out the match.Â
