BETHANY, Okla. — Dartanyon Meggs scored a season-high 13 points for Southern Nazarene in a 75-62 loss to Henderson State.

The Crimson Storm (7-6, 3-4 GAC) drop back-to-back games for the first time at home this year.

Meggs went 4-for-9 from the field and pulled down two rebounds.
LB Willis scored a team-high 15 points and added four rebounds and two steals.
Garrett Butler also scored 12 points and had two rebounds and two steals.
Corey McCrary chipped in with eight points going 3-for-6 from the field.

The Storm shot 37.5 percent from the field and 10-for-29 from 3-point range. SNU also went 10-for-17 at the free-throw line. The Reddies outscored the Storm 34-16 in the paint and had 46 rebounds compared to SNU's 26 rebounds. Henderson State shot 44.8 percent from the field and hit six 3-pointers.

Southern Nazarene was held scoreless for the first 4:21 of the game, but kept the Reddies close as they led by no more than seven. Henderson led 15-8 with 10:19 left in the first when SNU went on a 17-9 run capped by a
LB Willis Dunk to give SNU its first lead of the game at 25-24 with 3:52 left. The Storm held its biggest lead in the half at 29-27 on a Willis jumper, but Henderson closed the half with a 5-0 run to lead 37-29 at the break.

The Reddies held a 37-34 lead early in the second half before
Garrett Butler started a 9-2 run with a layup to give the storm a 41-39 lead with 15:58 to play. Henderson though responded with a 28-10 run to lead 67-51 with 8:08 left to play.Â
