Storm Lose to Savage Storm

SNU allowed four players to score in double-digits in its 83-59 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State

DURANT, Okla.— Southern Nazarene allowed four players from Southeastern Oklahoma State to score in double-digits its 83-59 loss.
 
Aminata Fall led the Crimson Storm (6-11, 3-8 GAC) in points, rebounds, and assists. She scored 18 points with nine rebounds and dished out a career-high seven assists. Abby Boyd scored 11 points and dished out three assists. Ashley Gorman scored ten points and grabbed three rebounds. Danielle Gaddis scored five points and pulled in a career-high eight rebounds.
 
The Savage Storm (13-6, 6-5 GAC) jumped out to an early lead as they started the game with a 14-10 run in the first seven minutes of the game. Southern Nazarene cut the lead to three points at the 8:31 of the first half. Southeastern Oklahoma State started to pull away as they closed out the half with a 20-8 run to establish a 15-point lead at halftime.
 
Fall scored eight points, pulled in six rebounds, and dished out six assists in the first half. Gorman scored six points and had one rebound. Gaddis scored five points and grabbed four rebounds.
 
The Savage Storm extended their lead early on in the second half with a 16-10 run in the first six minutes of the half. The Crimson Storm cut the lead to 15 points with nine minutes to go, but could not cut it down anymore as Southeastern Oklahoma State ended the game with a 22-13 run.
 
Fall scored ten points and pulled in three rebounds in the second half. Boyd scored eight points and had one assist. LaShabra Plunkett scored seven points to go along with one rebound and one assist.
 
With nine rebounds, Fall is now third in school history in total rebounds with 1,019.
