BETHANY, Okla.— Southern Nazarene was outrebounded 49-35 by Southwestern Oklahoma State and it also gave up 17 offensive rebounds in its 88-71 loss.
 
Abby Boyd led the team with 23 points and five assists. Aminata Fall scored 16 points, pulled in eight rebounds, and blocked six shots. Ashleigh Hutchings scored nine points, grabbed four rebounds, and also had two assists.
 
The Crimson Storm (6-12, 3-9 GAC) grabbed an early lead with a 7-0 run to start the game. They extended their lead to 13 points with a 10-4 run. The Bulldogs (6-11, 3-8 GAC) tied the game with a 38-25 run to close out the half.
 
Boyd scored ten points and dished out two assists in the first half. Fall scored ten points and grabbed five rebounds. Ashley Gorman scored seven points and pulled in four rebounds.
 
Southwestern Oklahoma State began to pull away in the second half as they started the half with a 16-5 run to establish an 11-point lead. Southern Nazarene cut the lead down to three points with seven minutes left to go, but the Bulldogs put the game away with a 21-7 run.
 
Boyd scored 13 points and dished out three assists in the second half. Fall scored six points and also had three rebounds.
 
Fall is now second in GAC history in points scored with 1,263. She needs 88 more points to break the record held by Kristen Celsor of Harding with 1,350 points.
