SEARCY, Ark. — CJ Rodriguez scored a career-high 17 points as he went 5-for-8 from the field and went 3-for-3 from 3-point range for Southern Nazarene in an 80-55 loss at Harding.

Rodriguez also went 4-for-7 at the line and had six rebounds for the Crimson Storm (8-8, 4-6 GAC).
Anton Kankaanpaa and
Jared Starkey both scored in double figures as Kankaanpaa had 11 points while Starkey had 10.
LB Willis also had nine points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Storm went shot 39.6 percent from the field hitting 19-for-48. SNU went 8-for-17 from the outside and went 9-for-12 at the line. The Bisons lit up the nets in the second half, shooting 68.0 percent. Harding finished going 30-for-55 from the field at 54.5 percent and went 11-for-21 from outside. The Bisons also went 9-for-11 at the line. Harding outscored SNU 34-16 in the paint and scored 27 points off of 17 Storm turnovers.

Both teams took a while to get going in the first half and neither team had a lead larger than six until the final minute when the Bisons scored back-to-back buckets to complete a 13-1 run and take a 30-21 lead into the half.

The Crimson Storm got as close as six early in the second half at 35-29, but Harding went on a 27-10 run to lead 62-39 with 8:52 left and held SNU at bay from there.Â
