WEATHERFORD, Okla.— Southern Nazarene won its second straight GAC game of the season and made a season-high 22 free throws in its 74-65 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Aminata Fall led the team with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
LaShabra Plunkett scored 13 points and pulled in six rebounds.
Olivia Chapman scored a career-high ten points and tied her career-high with seven rebounds in her first career start.
Abby Boyd scored ten points and dished out three assists.

The Crimson Storm (5-4, 2-3 GAC) shot 37.3 percent from the field, 25.0 percent from the three-point line, and 68.8 percent from the free-throw line. They held the Bulldogs (2-6, 0-3 GAC) to 34.4 percent from the floor, 21.4 percent from behind the arc, and 70.8 percent from the foul line. Southwestern Oklahoma State attempted 28 three-pointers, but only made six of them thanks to SNU's stingy defense.

The Bulldogs had the advantage early on as they outscored SNU 20-13 in the first ten minutes of the half. They had a 14 point lead with 3:28 left to go in the half, but the Crimson Storm cut it down to seven with a 9-2 run to close out the half.

Fall scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds in the first half. Boyd scored eight points and Plunkett scored six points. SNU only shot 2-for-6 from the foul line in the half.

SNU was able to regain the lead with 17:36 left to go in the second half after a made jumper by Fall. The teams exchanged the lead multiple times in the next couple of minutes. The tide began to turn at the 12:26 mark when SWOSU sent Plunkett to the free-throw line. She made both free throws and SNU sank 19 of its 22 free throws the rest of the game to seal the win, which included a streak of nine made free throws in a row.

Fall scored 15 points and pulled in seven rebounds in the second half. Chapman made a career-high eight free throws on a career-high ten attempts and scored all of her ten points in the half. Plunkett scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds. After SNU only made 33.3 percent of their free throws in the first half, they responded by shooting 76.9 percent from the free-throw line in the second half.
