CLAREMORE, Okla.— Southern Nazarene held Rogers State to a 37.3 percent shooting percentage from the field, but only shot 30.6 percent in its 77-64 loss.
Aminata Fall led the team with a season-high 33 points and ten rebounds. She also blocked six shots.
Abby Boyd scored 13 points and dished out six assists.
The Crimson Storm (5-5) shot 27.3 percent from the three-point line and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line. The Hillcats (2-6) shot 50.0 percent from behind the arc and 80.8 percent from the foul line.
Rogers State jumped out to an early lead as they posted an 18-14 run to start the game. That would be the closest that Southern Nazarene could get, as the Hillcats closed the half with a 18-15 to lead by seven at the half.
Fall scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked four shots in the first half.
Miranda Taylor scored six points. Boyd scored five points and dished out four assists.
The Crimson Storm kept the game close in the second half as they matched Rogers State in scoring 14-14 in the first eight minutes of the half. The Hillcats pulled away with a 30-21 run to close out the game.
Boyd scored eight points with two rebounds and two steals in the second half. Fall scored 19 points, pulled in five rebounds, and blocked two shots.
LaShabra Plunkett scored all five of her points in the half and also grabbed five rebounds.
Fall's 33 points is the second most in a game in her career and is tied for eighth most in a single game in SNU history.
