TULSA, Okla.— Southern Nazarene took on a tough challenge in an exhibition game against NCAA Division I Tulsa, and they played well in a 102-61 defeat.

Aminata Fall had 11 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double.
Abby Boyd was the leading scorer for the Crimson Storm with 20 points. Fall was 5-for-16 from the floor and knocked down one three-pointer. Boyd shot 6-for-16 from the field and was 3-for-8 from three-point range. Fall also had two blocks to go along with her double-double. Boyd had two assists and three rebounds.

Danielle Gaddis was one rebound short of a double-double as she scored 11 points and had nine rebounds. She was 3-for-3 from the field with two 3-pointers. She shot 3-for-4 from the foul line and also had one assist.Â
Ashley Gorman scored four points and had one rebound off the bench.
Olivia Chapman scored two points with three rebounds and five assists. Ashley Hutchings had nine points and was 3-for-7 from behind the arc.

The Crimson Storm shot 33.9 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from behind the arc. They were also 10-for-12 from the free throw line.

Southern Nazarene outrebounded the Golden Hurricane 43-38 and also had five blocks.

The Golden Hurricane scored four points in the first minute of the game before Boyd put the Crimson Storm on the board a little over a minute into the game. That would be as close as SNU could get to Tulsa as they went on a 24-10 run in the first half to begin to pull away.

Tulsa closed out the game in the second half with a 33-7 run in the second half. Â SNU finished the game strong with a 26-20 run in the last ten minutes of the game.Â
