BETHANY, Okla. — Taylor Jacobs became the ninth player in school history to record 1,000 kills in a career as the senior needed just three kills to hit the milestone, but finished with nine in a 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 25-16) sweep of Henderson State.

Jacobs also had 14 digs and five blocks in the win for Southern Nazarene (12-4, 5-1 GAC) and moved SNU to 4-1 at home. The win was also Head Coach
Kevin Ingram's 299
th career win. He is the all-time leader in school history in wins.

Courtney Bowie had a team-high 12 kills on the night and just one error as she hit a .423.
Lexie Matthews was also in double figure kills with 10.
Kaylee Piatt had 37 assists on the day (12.3 aps) and just misseda double-double with nine digs. She also added six blocks and three kills. The Crimson Storm had seven aces on the night as Piatt, Jacobs and
Dani Chase all had three.

Abbey Bell posted a team-high 15 digs while
Elyse Berlin had 10. The Storm as a team had nine blocks as
Emily Dick added four of those. SNU hit .225 (44-15-129) and held Henderson to just a .158 clip. SNU had to escape a sea-saw battle in the first set with 15 ties and seven lead changes, but SNU scored the final three points of the first set and cruised from there.
