WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Three players for Southern Nazarene notched double-figure kills, but SNU dropped just its second five-set match of the year with a 3-2 (19-25, 18-25, 25-14, 31-29, 15-9) loss at Midwestern State Thursday night.

Taylor Jacobs led the way for the Storm with 13 kills and added 14 digs and four blocks.
Courtney Bowie had 11 kills and four blocks while
Emilee Crawford had 10 kills and three blocks.
Kaylee Piatt notched a double-double as well with 43 assists and 17 digs.
Lexie Matthews and
Emily Dick each had seven kills while Matthews had 10 digs and Dick had eight to go with five blocks.
Abbey Bell also had 25 digs while
Elyse Berlin and
Dani Chase each had 10.

The Crimson Storm hit .118 while MSU hit .166. Southern Nazarene out dug the Mustangs, 99-92, but got out blocked for just the fourth time this season 11-10.
