BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene recorded its fifth straight win in Great American Conference play with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 29-27) won over Arkansas-Monticello.

The Crimson Storm (19-8, 10-3 GAC) have secured at least a top four seed in the GAC Championship and with a win Thursday can clinch third in the conference.

Despite getting out hit, out dug and out blocked, Southern Nazarene managed to find a win to pull out the three-set sweep. The only set the Storm out hit the Cotton Blossoms (13-13, 5-8 GAC) was the final set. SNU hit .148 and had four team blocks to go with 51 digs. UAMÂ had seven blocks and 62 digs while hitting .174.

Taylor Jacobs was the only Storm player with double-figure kills has she had 11. She added three blocks, four digs and two aces. SNU as a team had nine aces on the night as four players had two.
Kaylee Piatt inched closer to the school's career assists record as she had 35 on the night and now needs just 26 more to became the school's all-time leader. She also had seven digs and two aces.

Emilee Crawford had eight kills and hit .318 while
Courtney Bowie had seven kills.
Elyse Berlin and
Dani Chase each had two aces while Berlin had 10 digs and Chase had seven.
Abbey Bell had a team-high 13 digs.Â
