Box Score SEARCY, Ark. — The road has not been a friendly place for Southern Nazarene and Saturday was no different as Harding held SNU to just a .062 hitting percentage while hitting .295 on the other side in a 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-12) win over the Crimson Storm.
Nicole Greenway and
Kira Roberts led the way for the Crimson Storm as the two had seven kills each. Greenway also added three digs and two blocks.
Taylor Chase had 18 assists, four digs and two blocks while Natalia Oliveir and
Jamie Hope each had 11 digs. Hope also had two blocks.
The Crimson Storm (8-15, 5-3 GAC) have now lost six straight and two consecutive GAC matches.
Leading 8-6 in the first set, the Lady Bisons broke away with a 17-6 run to end the opener and take a 1-0 lead in the set. The Crimson Storm opened the second set, going point for point with Harding and had it tied at 7-7. The Lady Bisons though scored nine straight points to lead 16-7 and held the Storm at bay from there. It was all Harding in the third set as it hit .387.
The Crimson Storm will now get set to take on East Central, Tuesday, in a 7 p.m. GAC contest.
