    Volunteer Assistant

Kaley Brubaker returns to Southern Nazarene University as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in 2026 after spending five seasons as a student-athlete with the Crimson Storm.

During her time as a player, Brubaker played an integral role in SNU’s Great American Conference Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022.

In 2022, Brubaker earned Second Team All-Great American Conference honors, two GAC Setter of the Week awards, and a spot on the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational All-Tournament Team. She continued to build on her success in 2023, earning four GAC Setter of the Week honors, as well as All-Tournament Team selections at the Patriot Classic and Tiger Classic.

During the 2024 and 2025 seasons, Brubaker transitioned into a mentorship and coaching role within the program, working closely with the coaching staff and specializing in the development of SNU’s setters. Her experience as a collegiate setter, combined with her time working alongside the coaching staff, provided her with valuable insight into player development, practice planning, and the day-to-day responsibilities of a collegiate coaching staff.

Brubaker began her coaching career at 17 years old in Fort Worth, Texas, where she coached club volleyball. As a coach with Eagle Mountain Volleyball Club, she led a 13-year-old team to a first-place finish in the American Division at the Lone Star Classic. Three players from that team have since committed to play NCAA Division II volleyball. She later coached a top 13s team at RISE Volleyball Club, continuing to develop her experience working with young athletes and building competitive teams.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Brubaker was an all-state volleyball player in high school and earned multiple statewide honors throughout her prep career.

Brubaker graduated from Southern Nazarene University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently works as a nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She and her fiancé are set to be married in May 2027.
