Keeton Peery was named an Assistant Coach for the Southern Nazarene Women’s Basketball program in August 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in collegiate coaching, strength and conditioning, and player development. He has helped mentor multiple NCAA All-Americans and all-conference honorees, contributing to championship-level programs at every stop in his career.
He most recently served as an Assistant Coach at the University of Central Oklahoma (2024–2025). Prior to that, he spent the 2023–2024 season at Regis University, helping lead the program to a 26–6 record, RMAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, and a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional. That season included four all-conference selections, one all-region honoree, and one NCAA D2 All-American.
His coaching journey also includes five years as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Oklahoma Christian University (2017–2022), where his athletes earned 11 all-conference honors, two NCAA All-American awards, one Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year title, and the 2018–2019 NCAA D2 Scoring Champion. He also served as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Oklahoma Christian Academy and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at both Oklahoma Baptist University (2018–2020) and Oklahoma Christian University (2017–2019). He began his career as Youth Basketball Coordinator for the Oklahoma City Thunder (2013–2016).
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), he holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Advertising and a master’s in Exercise Science from the University of Central Oklahoma.
He resides in Washington, Oklahoma, with his wife, Alana, and their two children: Evan and Julia.
