Palmer begins his first season in 2021-22 serving as a Student Assistant for the Men's Basketball program. He played for head coach Adam Bohac for two seasons from 2017-19 where he helped the Crimson Storm win back-to-back Great American Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships. In his two seasons as a player for SNU, Palmer averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the floor in a 15.5 minutes per game average. Coming off the strong Storm bench, he was a pivotal piece that helped the team reach two consecutive NCAA Tournaments in 2018 and 2019.
After finishing his playing career at SNU, Palmer took his talents oversees to play professional basketball in Spain. He played one season for Barcientro Barbera Barcelona before returning back across the pond.
