High School Highlights:
Wellington High School (Wellington, Texas): Shipman was a two-time all-state defensive end. He was an eight-time all-district choice in various positions (defensive tackle, tight end, defensive end, wide receiver and wide end). Shipman totaled 74 sacks and also gained 1,973 total yards in his career. He also played baseball and ran track.
