·   Prepped three varsity seasons at Andrews (Texas) High School where he graduated in 2017
·   Named All-District at wide receiver and defensive back as a senior
·   Selected as a Dave Campbell Player to Watch as a senior
·   Was a two-time All-Permian Basin selection at defensive back
·   Received an All-State honorable mention as a junior
·   Earned Academic All-State honors as a senior
·   Competed four seasons in track and field and one year in basketball as well
·   Was a three-time All-State Academic honoree in track
