·   Prepped four varsity seasons at Seaside (CA) High School, where he graduated in 2018
·   Was a three-time First Team All-League selection on offense and defense
·   Named All-Conference in his senior season
·   Also played basketball and ran track for the Spartans

·   Has four brothers, Terrance, Tyron, James Jr., and Sammie
·   Has one sister, Marquida
·   Majoring in human relations with plans to help rehabilitate prisoners and ex-prisoners
