Scott Cooper begins his sixth season as an assistant coach at SNU. He will coach tight ends in 2023.
Cooper has spent two seasons as an assistant offensive line coach at SNU. Prior to coming to SNU Cooper spent two seasons as the quality control coach at Southmoore High School and was also the offensive line and defensive line coach at Highland West Junior High in Moore. He was also the tight ends and defensive line coach at Luther High School in 2015.
Cooper was also the offensive line and defensive line coach at Southeast High School in 2013 and 2014. Following high school the Bray, Oklahoma native played at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and was a member of the 1996 National Championship team. He graduated from SNU with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Gerontology from SNU in 2020. He obtained a master's degree in Sports Management and Administration. He and his wife Amy reside in Edmond.
