Entering his 41st season of coaching, 16 at the intercollegiate level, Rick Hodam begins his second season coaching the offensive line and special teams.
Hodam first coached at Dallas Center-Grimes High School in Dallas Center, Iowa, for three seasons before moving to Eastern New Mexico where he coached the offensive line for the Greyhounds for four seasons. He then returned back Iowa where he became the Head Coach at Iowa Wesleyan. After coaching four seasons for the Tigers he then moved to Garden City, Kansas, to take the head position at Garden City High School for four seasons.
Hodam’ longest stint came at Lansing (Kan.) High School where he was the Head Coach for 17 seasons. He then joined Mike Cochran at MidAmerica Nazarene as the offensive line coach for five seasons. Hodam then returned back to Lansing to coach three more seasons as the Assistant Head Coach before retiring.
Hodam joins his son Davis, who coaches safeties for the Storm.
