Nate Brown begins his sixth season at Southern Nazarene in 2025 continuing in his roles as the Offensive Line and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Brown comes to Bethany after serving as an Associate Athletic Director at Olivet Nazarene University. Prior to his administrative role at ONU, Brown was an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Grace Christian Academy in Kankakee, IL.
The 2025 season marks Brown’s 21st season as a collegiate-level coach, with 14 of those years taking place at ONU. During his time with the Tigers, Brown served in a variety of roles including Associate Head Coach (2015), Defensive Backs (2015), Offensive Coordinator (2009-2014), Offensive Line (2011-2014), Quarterbacks (2009-2010), Wide Receivers (2001-2004 and 2007-2008), and Linebackers (2006). In 2005 Brown was the Defensive Backs Coach at Howard Payne University while serving on the staff of Dr. Mike Redwine, SNU’s current Executive Vice President.
Brown states, “I am super excited to support Coach Hada in the development of these men and thrilled to support the mission of Southern Nazarene through the avenue of football. I truly enjoy mentoring young men and helping them grow in their walks with Christ. I also am fully committed to the vision that Coach Hada has for Storm Football, and I believe in the guidance and direction he provides our athletes daily. I feel truly honored to be a part of the Crimson Storm family.”
Nate is married to his wife Christina and is a high school biology teacher at Bethany High School. Nate and Chris have two boys, Ozzie and Everett.
