Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Micah Anderson begins his 10th year as an assistant coach for Southern Nazarene and will coach the cornerbacks this season.

Anderson was a former standout at Southern Nazarene and has been a member of the SNU coaching staff since his graduation in 2005.

Anderson is a native of Piedmont, Oklahoma, where he attended Piedmont High School, graduating in 2001.

At Piedmont, Anderson was an all-district linebacker and also played basketball and ran track. He was a standout in the classroom, being named his class Valedictorian and was a member of the National Honor Society.

After graduating from Piedmont, Anderson went on to attend Southern Nazarene, where he earned a bachelor's degree in history/political science in 2005. Anderson was a four-year member of the Crimson Storm football team, where he played from 2001-05. He was a three-year starter at outside linebacker, recording 157 tackles in his four-year career.

Anderson resides in Oklahoma City.
