Billy Miller

Billy Miller begins his 26th season at Southern Nazarene University and his 25th season as the Head Coach of the SNU Cross Country program. Miller is a graduate of Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City and holds a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in education administration from Southern Nazarene University.

Under Miller, the Crimson Storm cross-country and track teams have produced 15 of the 23 National Champions, 43 of the 84 All-Americans, 34 of the 35 All-Conference, and 184 of the 193 Scholar-Athletes. Some athletes have earned NCAA Elite 90, USATFCCA, CoSIDA Academic All-America, CoSIDA Scholar-Athlete, GAC Academic honors in the history of the cross-country and track and field programs at SNU. His teams have also set numerous different school records in cross-country and indoor and outdoor track and field. 

Miller began his coaching career at Weatherford (Okla.) High School as an assistant coach for cross-country and track and field. Miller served at Weatherford from 1996-1999, before coming to Southern Nazarene University. He and his wife Amber currently reside in Yukon and have three sons, Colin, Aidan, and Austin, and a daughter named Kaylee.
