Kenneth West begins his fourth year with the Crimson Storm.
West, a 2006 graduate of New Mexico, played two years at UNM where he helped the Lobos to two winning seasons. He also had two games with over 10 tackles.
Before coming to New Mexico, West played two season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where he was named the an NJCAA All-American and the 2003 Southwest Junior College Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He finished with 137 tackles, 15 pass breakups and four interceptions.
A 2001 graduate of Star Spencer High School, West was named the Oklahoman Little All-City Defensive Player of the Year, Co-Defensive player of the Year in the state of Oklahoma and an A.P. Oklahoma All-American First Team.
