West returned to SNU in 2020 serving as the Assistant Head Coach, while also coaching Wide Receivers. He transitioned back into the SNU family after spending two seasons serving as the head football coach for Star Spencer High School in Oklahoma City where he was named OKCPS Coach of the Year in 2018. Prior to his two-year stint with the Bobcats, West coached at Southern Nazarene for five years. He coached running backs for three seasons and defensive backs for two, and also served as the strength and conditioning coach for one year as well. West has transitioned into other roles while at SNU where he has served as a Intercultural Learning advisor and often serves as the campus liaison for activities on campus helping to intertwine the team with campus life.

Born and raised in Spencer, Oklahoma, Coach West graduated from Star Spencer High School as All City Defensive player of the year and First Team All State. In his college playing days, West was a First Team All-American at NEO and won the Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a defensive back and two conference championships. He also went on to play two seasons for the University of New Mexico where they accomplished back to back winning seasons and reached 1 bowl game.

West was an Elementary Ed major at the University of New Mexico, later he received a bachelors in Organizational Leadership from Langston University and finally he earned his MBA from Southern Nazarene University.
West joined OKCPS for two years where he taught Algebra 2 and Statistics, he was named Teacher of the Month in September of 2018.
Kenneth West and his wife Priscila, daughter Poliana and son Kenneth Samuel live in Oklahoma City.
