Derrick Carmouche enters his first season as a defensive Graduate Assistant.
Derrick started at cornerback for SNU for four years from 2014-2017. During his time with the Crimson Storm secondary, Carmouche tallied 145 career tackles in 42 games played. His ball-hawking prowess allowed him to snag 5 interceptions over the course of his career. He ranks 3rd all-time in school history for interception return yards with 163 yards, including returning one for a touchdown in his senior season. He also ranks 10th all-time in school history for unassisted tackles and passes deflected, tallying 109 solo tackles and 19 pass breakups.
Carmouche is from Houston, Texas and has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.
