•    Prepped three varsity seasons at Naches (Wash.) Valley High School where he graduated in 2007
•    Named the Yakima Valley Player of the Year and SCAC MVP as a senior
•    Selected the CWAC MVP as a junior
•    Played basketball as well
•    Was a member of the National Honor Society and the B Honor Roll
