Savedra enters his fifth year as an assistant coach for the Crimson Storm.
 
Savedra's roots in coaching baseball start close with Santa Fe South High School where he started the program in 2004. He coached there for five years until 2009. He then took over the Putnam City West High School program from 2010-11.
 
He also started a summer team for high school players in 2008 called the OKC Ambassadors that travel all over the country and internationally playing baseball and sharing Christ with others. He's coached over 60 players that have gone on to play collegiate baseball, with two of them being drafted by Major League Baseball.  
 
Savedra has a passion for taking Christ and baseball to developing countries, and has had the opportunity to do so in Mexico, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
 
Savedra is married to his wife Tara, and they have son, Adrian Enrique, and a saint bernard named Santo.
 
He is a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s in secondary education in biology. He also earned a master's in 2012 from SNU.
