Biography
SNU Career Highlights:
Junior Season: Sexton played in 26 matches (61 sets) and posted 116 digs (1.90 dps.). She also notched eight assists. Notched at least 10 digs in four different matches. Posted a career-high 11 digs against Friends (Kan.) and at Bethel (Kan.). She also served a pair of aces.
Sophomore Season: Sexton appeared in 26 games in her first year at SNU, finishing the '08 season with 39 digs and a receiving percentage of .914. Brittany averaged 1.50 digs per game and added one service ace.
High School Highlights:
W.E. Boswell High School (Fort Worth, Texas): Sexton was an all-district honorable mention as a junior and earned team MVP honors as a senior. She set the record for most digs in a season during her junior campaign. As a senior, Sexton was also an academic all-state selection. Out of high school, Sexton enrolled at the University of Dallas before coming to SNU in the fall of 2008.
