BETHANY, Okla. - Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer dropped its home contest Wednesday evening, falling 3-0 to No.18 Texas Woman's.

The Crimson Storm (0-1-1) were put on the back foot early against the Pioneers (3-0-0). Texas Woman's opened the scoring just under eight minutes in, as Concepcion Maya finished off assists from Giselle Gutierrez and Mardie Frye at the 7:40 mark to make it 1-0.

SNU's defense held strong for most of the remainder of the first half, but TWU doubled its lead late in the period. Gianna Antovoni found the net in the 40th minute, assisted by Bri Luna, to send the Pioneers into halftime up 2-0.

 The lead grew quickly after the break. Just over two minutes into the second half, Alexandra Hughes scored off a feed from Halee Avery at 47:24 to make it 3-0 for Texas Woman's.

 The Pioneers controlled the attack throughout, out shooting SNU 29-1 with 11 shots on goal. The Crimson Storm managed just one shot in the second half and did not put a shot on frame. Madaline Bailey kept the Storm in it with 8 saves in the afternoon, while TWU did not record a save.Â
