Crimson Storm Tops Ouachita Baptist 1-0 at Home

BETHANY, Okla. - Southern Nazarene continued Great American Conference play with a 1-0 win over Ouachita Baptist Saturday afternoon at Wes Harmon Field.

The Crimson Storm (5-2-0, 2-0 GAC) and the Tigers (3-2-1, 0-1 GAC) were scoreless through 88 minutes of action.

Southern Nazarene found the breakthrough late. Essien Behn delivered the game-winner in the 89th minute, assisted by Pedro Belmont, to put SNU in front 1-0. The goal marked the first of Behn's career. 

The Tigers pushed for an equalizer in the final minute, but the Crimson Storm defense held firm to secure the shutout.

Southern Nazarene controlled the attack on the day, out shooting Ouachita Baptist 16-8, including 10-3 in the second half, and placing 6 shots on frame. Ouachita Baptist was credited with 5 saves, while Aimar Aramendia posted 5 saves.
