WICHITA FALLS, Texas - No. 19 Southern Nazarene fell on the road Thursday night, dropping a 3-1 decision to No. 6 Midwestern State in Wichita Falls.

The Mustangs (3-0-2) got on the board first in the 19th minute when Cooper Tea finished off a cross from Juan David Valencia Vacca to make it 1-0.

The teams went into halftime with Midwestern State holding the 1-0 advantage.

Southern Nazarene (2-2-0) found the equalizer early in the second half at the 50:40 mark. Henry Boldt scored his first goal of the season off a corner kick from Xavier Salisbury and Essien Behn to tie it at 1-1.

Midwestern State answered in the 60th minute as Jose Ortiz put the Mustangs back in front off a long ball from Davis Mays. The Mustangs added insurance late in the 84th minute when Alan Rivera converted a penalty kick to make it 3-1.

SNU finished the night with 20 total shots, putting 6 on frame, while Midwestern State finished with 16 shots and 7 on goal.
