LUBBOCK, Texas—The Southern Nazarene University Crimson Storm Equestrian team traveled to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in a series of Western shows at Texas Tech University, showcasing strong individual performances across multiple classes and days.

In the first show of the weekend, the Storm riders made an impressive start in Beginner Horsemanship and Rookie A divisions. Emma Bullard claimed first place in Beginner Horsemanship, while Cosette Barnett secured a solid second-place finish in the same class. David Bremer added to the team's success with a third-place result in Rookie A. Additional team members Alec Danley, Josh Nelson, and Abigail Heck participated, gaining valuable experience in Beginner Horsemanship.

The momentum continued through the second show. Alec Danley earned third place in Beginner Horsemanship, with Emma Bullard placing fifth in the same division. David Bremer followed up his earlier success with a fourth-place finish in Rookie A. Josh Nelson, Abby Heck, and Cosette Barnett also competed in Beginner Horsemanship.

Show 3 on Day 2 brought more highlights: David Bremer delivered a standout second-place performance in Rookie A, demonstrating consistency across the weekend. Josh Nelson placed third in Beginner Horsemanship, while Emma Bullard finished sixth and Cosette Barnett also took sixth in the division. Abby Heck and Alec Danley participated, rounding out the team's efforts.

The Crimson Storm's results reflect the dedication and skill of their riders in the competitive IHSA-style Western events. With multiple top-three finishes—including a win, several podium spots, and strong showings from both veteran and developing riders—the team represented Southern Nazarene University well in this early-season competition.
