Crimson Storm Fall on the Road to Texas Woman's

SNU creates chances but Pioneers finish strong in 4-0 matchup in Denton

DENTON, Texas - Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer made the trip to Denton to take on Texas Woman's on Wednesday evening but came up short in a 4-0 loss.

The Crimson Storm (1-1-1, 0-0-0 GAC) had looks early, including a shot from Sam Most that went just wide and a strong strike from Bella Morgas that forced a save from the Pioneer (3-0-0, 0-0-0 LSC) keeper. 

On the other end, Gianna Bonnett came up with a big stop to keep TWU from adding more in the first half, but SNU went into the break trailing 2-0.

In the second half, Sam Smith sent one just off target while Hailey Najera put a shot on goal that was saved by TWU's keeper Faith Graves. The Crimson Storm continued to create chances, but Texas Woman's stayed on the front foot, adding two more goals after the break to secure the 4-0 win.
