MAGNOLIA, Ark.- Southern Nazarene fought through two overtimes to take down Southern Arkansas 92-87, securing their seventh straight win and 15th of the season.

Southern Arkansas (10-10, 5-9 GAC) came out strong in the first quarter, building an early 25-10 lead. The Crimson Storm (15-5, 12-2 GAC) had a slow start and struggled to get things going right away.

Hannah Giddey got things started with back to back layups, and Jillian Crawford added one off a Giddey assist. Carley Gasaway also knocked down a jumper, but Southern Arkansas had the momentum, and it was clear they were in control early on.

Crawford kept the momentum going in the second quarter with a steal and jumper, and Jena Bay drilled a three off a Giddey assist. Crawford and Katie King added layups, and Jordan Hoffman knocked down a pair of free throws. With the clock winding down, Gasaway hit a buzzer beater three, but the Muleriders were still ahead going into halftime 43-35 at halftime.

Southern Arkansas kept control after half time going in  in the third quarter, extending their lead to 62-56. SNU tried to chip away, with Hoffman and Bay knocking down back to back threes, Giddey adding a layup, and Hoffman sinking a free throw, but the Muleriders stayed in front heading into the fourth quarter.

King opened the fourth quarter with a three off a Giddey assist, while Bay added two layups to close the gap. Giddey scored again, but with 30 seconds left, SNU trailed 72-71. Nyberg tipped in a bucket to make it a one point game, she then had a free throw to tie it at 72 and send the game to overtime.
