Crimson Storm Rides in Canyon

SNU competes in their second show of the year

CANYON, Texas - Southern Nazarene Equestrian traveled to Canyon, Texas, for their second show of the year, competing in the West Texas A&M competition on Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16.

Day 1
The Crimson Storm saw strong performances on the first day, with Eliana Brown securing a second-place finish in the Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation. Shiloh Ellison and Timothy Hough each earned third place in the Introductory and Novice Hunter Seat Equitation.

Reagan Stevenson placed sixth in the Open Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat and fifth in the Intermediate Over Fences.

Felicity Miller and Sarah Garcia competed in the Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation, while Reagan Hall and Kailie Sanchez took part in the Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.

Day 2
SNU notched another second-place finish on the final day, with Reagan Stevenson claiming a top spot in the Open Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat while also placing fourth in the Intermediate Over Fences.

Felicity Miller secured third in the Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation, while Eliana Brown and Shiloh Ellison each took fourth in the Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation.

Sarah Garcia finished sixth in the Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation, while Timothy Hough placed sixth in the Novice Hunter Seat Equitation. Reagan Hall also earned a sixth-place finish in the Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.

Kailie Sanchez participated in the Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat to wrap up the weekend.

Next Up
The Storm will travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico to compete in the New Mexico State Competition February 22 through February 23.
