MONTICELLO, Ark. - Southern Nazarene baseball met Arkansas-Monticello on Monday to wrap up the series with a doubleheader after the Weevils took game one on Sunday, but UAM came out on top again, completing the sweep. 

Game 1
The Storm (4-7, 0-3 GAC)  came out swinging in the opener, striking first with a run in the top of the first. 

Antonio Sabala singled up the middle, and after a groundout moved him over, Weston Hicks delivered an RBI single to put SNU up 1-0.

That lead didn't last long, as the Weevils (8-1, 3-0 GAC) answered with a six run first inning. UAM kept rolling in the third, tacking on four more runs to push their lead to double digits.
SNU struggled to get anything going at the plate, and the Weevils ran away with game two, 1-13.

Game 2
UAM struck first in the series finale, jumping ahead 2-0 in the first. Tanner Bare gave SNU some life in the top of the second with a hit to right center.

The Weevils added a run in the bottom of the inning, but the Crimson Storm stayed in it with an RBI from Brinkmeyer in the third, keeping it a 3-2 ballgame.

Arkansas Monticello extended their lead with a run in the fifth and then put the game out of reach with a three run sixth.

The Storm couldn't mount a late rally, and the Weevils took game two, 7-2, to seal the sweep.
