BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene closed out the 2025 season in exciting fashion Saturday afternoon, surging past Oklahoma Baptist for a 49-19 Homecoming victory inside the SNU Football Stadium.
Southern Nazarene (2-9, 2-9 GAC) put together its most complete performance of the year, dominating on the ground with a season high of 431 rushing yards. SNU capitalized on explosive plays to take control early and never looked back. The Crimson Storm piled up touchdown after touchdown, using a balanced attack and timely defensive stops to earn their second win of the season.
After Oklahoma Baptist opened the scoring with a 42-yard field goal, SNU wasted no time responding. Bryson Evans broke free for a 72-yard touchdown sprint to give the Crimson Storm their first lead of the afternoon. Moments later, Cameron Anderson extended the advantage with a 24-yard scoring run, putting SNU up 14-3 after the first quarter.
The Storm kept the momentum rolling early in the second. Evans punched in his second touchdown of the day from one yard out, capping a 77-yard drive that pushed the lead to 21-6. Oklahoma Baptist added another field goal just before halftime, but the Storm carried a 21-6 edge into the break behind a dominant rushing performance.
Southern Nazarene continued to wear down the Bison in the third quarter. Carson Hendrix muscled in a 3-yard touchdown run, and Cody Conaway added another score through the air, hauling in a 3-yard pass from Jaxon Worley to stretch the advantage to 35-6.
Kendall Robertson then delivered two fourth-quarter touchdowns, punching in scores from one and three yards out as SNU sealed the game with authority. Oklahoma Baptist added a pair of late touchdown passes, but the outcome was long decided as the Crimson Storm controlled all phases in the 49-19 win.
The Crimson Storm will now set their sites on the 2026 season as they head into the offseason.
