MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. — Southern Nazarene wrapped up play at the 2026 Spring Regional Preview with a T-12 finish after posting rounds of +34, +26, and +26 at Shangri-La Country Club. The three-day event was contested on a 5,813-yard, par-72 layout.
Haley Whittern led the way for the Crimson Storm, finishing T33 at +14 (78-78-74). Whittern opened the tournament with two birdies in round one, added another in round two, and closed with two more birdies in the final round.
Gracelynn Nickell followed closely, placing T48 at +19 (78-81-76). Nickell carded a birdie in the opening round and added two more over the final 36 holes.
Riley Rinner finished T54 at +21 (82-75-80), highlighted by a strong second round that included a pair of birdies.
Addison Hoefar and Esther Santos each finished T81 at +35. Hoefar posted rounds of 84-83-84, while Santos turned in scores of 86-80-85.
Arkansas Tech claimed the team title at +18, while Northwest Missouri State's Clara Peake earned medalist honors at 5-under.
The Crimson Storm will now turn their attention to the GAC Championships at Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Southern Nazarene finished 10th at last year's conference championship.
