LUBBOCK, Texas, — After two months away from the show stage, Southern Nazarene Equestrian kicked off their 2024 portion of their season in Lubbock, Texas, riding across two days and posting numerous top-5 finishes.
Southern Nazarene had a few athletes compete in the Beginner division on Day 1, with
David Bremer leading the way in first.
Eliana Brown and
Shiloh Ellison both grabbed a fifth place finish. The Storm also had two place in the Rookie A division, seeing
Bethany Crouch finish second and
Olivia Harris placing fifth.
Abby Williams grabbed a 6th place finish in the Rookie B division and
Sienna Smithson rounded out the awards with a second place finish in the Ranch Riding division and a third place finish in the Level 2 Horsemanship.
The team performed to third place finish overall in the first day of completion.
Bremer carried over his performance from Day 1 into Day 2 with another first place in the Beginner division. Brown followed in the same division with a second place finish and Hibbs in sixth.
Crouch rode again in Day 2, racking up a fifth place finish in the Rookie A division while Harris finished sixth. Williams competed again in the Rookie B division and improved to a fourth place finish.
Sienna Smithson earned herself a fifth place finishing in the Ranch Riding division & fifth also in the Level 2 Horsemanship.
Southern Nazarene will be back in action on February 10th and 11th in Purcell to compete in Oklahoma University's Two Hunt Shows.
