PURCELL, Okla. — Southern Nazarene Equestrian traveled to Purcell over the weekend to ride in Oklahoma University's Two Hunt Shows. SNU had two great riding days with multiple top-five finishes across each day.
Day 1
Freshman
Sienna Smithson led the Storm on day one with a second place finish in the Pre-Novice Hunt Seat Equitation.
Timothy Hough was right behind her in third in the Pre-Novice Flat. Freshman
Shiloh Ellison finished fourth in the Introductory Flat. Also in the Introductory Flat was
Lauren Hibbs, who posted a fifth place finish. SNU has another fifth place rider, coming from
Abby Williams in the Intermediate Flat. Williams also finished fourth in the Limit Over Fences.
Day 2
Hough had an excellent day again in the Pre-Novice Flat, leading the Storm with a first place finish. The Storm had three fourth place finishes the second day, coming from Ellison in the Introductory Flat, Smithson in the Pre-Novice Hunt Seat Equitation, and Williams in both the Intermediate Flat and 4th Limit Over Fences. Hibbs rounded out the riding with a fifth place finish in the introductory flat.

The Storm are set for another show, but on a bigger stage as they will travel to New Mexico for the Western IHSA Region Championship February 24th-25th.
