BETHANY, Okla.—Following last week's announcement of 13 incoming freshmen to the Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer program, head coach Josh Smith also announced the addition of two transfers to the program.
The Crimson Storm added a pair of midfield JUCO transfers in Kyler Bowman out of Northeast Community College, and Natalie Montanez out of Seminole State College.
Coach Smith spoke highly of both Bowman and Montanez, saying:
"Natalie and Kyler are two top level junior college products. Natalie is coming to us by way of Seminole State College and Coach Dan Hill. She was a consistent starter on a team that made two NJCAA D1 National Tournaments, including the 2021 NJCAA D1 National Semifinal. She has the ability to be a ball-winning center mid and bring a high IQ to our midfield. Kyler is coming by way of Northeast Community College and Coach Chad Miller. She was a consistent starter for them and helped this team build into a NJCAA D2 National Tournament team! She is a blue collar center mid who will provide a high work rate and desire to compete! Both of these players will provide extremely valuable experience to our midfield!"
