BETHANY, Okla.—Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer coach, Josh Smith, announced the signing of 13 freshmen for the upcoming 2023 season.
The new class features 13 student-athletes spanning across five states. Eight hail from Texas, two from Oklahoma, and one from each of Colorado, California, and New Mexico.
Coach Smith spoke highly of the incoming freshmen class, saying:
"Our 2023 freshmen class is an exciting one. We have worked hard over the last year and have signed freshmen from five states. This is a well rounded class. We have added speed, tenacity, goal scorers, physical defenders, technical midfielders, and just overall great human beings to our program. We saw so much growth in our returning group in the 2022-2023 year. This class continues to build on that and will compliment our returning group well. We can't wait to add these quality players and people to our family."
